View Chat While Streaming on One Monitor

Here's how to get a small and transparent window while streaming on one monitor. I use this for CS:GO and find it quite valuable. Here are the settings you will need to commit (or change). You will need two other programs (apps) to achieve this: Chatty and TransWin. Links are at the bottom of this tutorial.

In CS:GO - Video > Fullscreen Windowed (it will not affect frame rate). That's the only setting needed for Counter Strike GO:

Chatty - Connection to your stream or streaming is not needed to modify and see your changes. Here are the settings I use:

Look Settings (blue arrow) - Modify the red arrows. I suggest changing one value at a time, particularly the backgrounds first, to get the desired look you want.

Look Settings, Chat Colors - These are the colors I like. Again, define your own at your choice.

TransWin - This is where the magic starts. Makes any window transparent globally and per program.

Global settings - 0%: makes all windows NON transparent

Per program: I use between 88 and 93% for Chatty

Move window around to your liking. While chatty is focused you can press F10 to remove the drop down menu bar. Also select VIEW and check off "always on top."

That's it, you're done!

CS:GO Addict,

I'm not Rappaport
